Maria Tolika has been personally taught and trained as a choreographer and dance teacher by her mother Nadeshda Vladimirovna Chrubilova Tolika (graduated ballet dancer from Russia) since she was 4 years old. Later she additionally completed her dance pedagogy training at the International Academy for Professional Training in Artistic and Contemporary Dance & Dance Pedagogy in Bielefeld in the field of ballet, jazz and modern dance.
Maria is multiple German Champion and six-time World Champion in the categories Ballet, Jazz and Modern. She has also been awarded the special prize for best classical solo, best modern solo and three times as “Outstanding Young Talent”.
Maria can also be seen on television in shows such as “Das Supertalent” (2008), “Got to Dance” (2013), “It’s Showtime” (2017) and “Masters of Dance” (2018).
She also directs two ballet performance groups in Düsseldorf, which successfully participate in national and international competitions every year. Maria loves to feel the adrenalin all over her body while dancing and enjoys every second on stage. She says there is hardly a more beautiful feeling for her.
As a dance teacher and choreographer, she wants to bring the love of dance closer to children of all ages and adults. Despite her very high level of performance, it is important to her that the joy of movement is not neglected. With Maria there is also a lot of laughter in the dance hall, because she herself became such an outstanding dancer not only through hard and disciplined training, but especially because her mother put the joy of dancing into her heart.
Since 2015 she is recognized by the district government of Düsseldorf in terms of paragraph 4 No. 21 UStG.
