Early dance education level 1 for 3 – 4 year olds
Kids love to dance. We support the innate dance enthusiasm and strengthen it. In stories suitable for children, the children learn to know their body parts and to perceive and move them in isolation. These newly acquired movement abilities give them self-confidence and increase their creativity in order to translate their movement potential into dance fairy tales.
Early dance education level 2 for 5 – 6 year olds
In this stage of early dance education, we refine the movements that have already been developed in a playful way. In addition, the rhythmic and musical education is intensified. The movements become more and more complex by getting to know different dynamics and partner exercises, which is reflected in the dance stories.
Classical ballet from approx. 7 – 8 years of age
In our school we teach according to the Vaganova (russian) method. It is characterized by special logic and complete structure. From year to year the technical and dancing steps develop further. The physical and mental discipline is increased enormously. The children are given the chance to enjoy classical music, which (empirically proven) also promotes intelligence. The ballet technique enables the students to feel themselves in flowing, rounded movements and to discover their love for ballet.
Pointe technique is the dream of many ballet students. However, a strong foot and ankle musculature is needed in order not to risk any damage. We pay attention to proper dance at the tips, which is reflected in fearless, safe and graceful movements. In order to fulfil the Waganowa timetable in all areas, it makes sense and is necessary to train twice for the point dance.
The character dance is stylized folklore and goes back to the dances of different peoples. This form of dance is characterized by atmospheric, stirring dances, which also include ballet-untypical movements and foot positions. This gives the participants a new approach to movement and teaches them how to grasp choreographies. Expression and temperament are developed in a special way.
Children’s jazz from 8 years on
In the children’s jazz the children dance to the current charts and cool beats. They learn breathtaking choreographies from jazz dance and hip hop elements without neglecting the further development of technique and basics. We make sure that the movements remain suitable for children.
Jazzdance for teenagers and adults
In these lessons one of the most popular dance forms is taught. Jazz dance is constantly evolving, and it lives from the rhythm of contemporary music. The latest dance styles and music videos flow in here and bring a lot of fun and power.
Ballet for teenagers and adults
Of course we also offer ballet lessons for teenagers and adults, for beginners and advanced students. The courses are very popular and enable some to fulfill their childhood dreams. Ballet lessons for adults are also given in the morning. Classical ballet does not only offer a holistic balance for the body after a long working day. Due to the high concentration, which is created during the lessons, the student is completely absorbed by the dance events and thus 100 percent devoted to the ballet, both physically and mentally. Since the execution of movement requires a very high degree of precision, which we teachers constantly teach by means of corrections and assistance during the lessons, and since one also tries to remember the sequence of movements, the head simply has no room or time for other thoughts. This quality is highly appreciated by our students and has made dance a valuable and personal part of their lives. Because ballet does not only include the high fitness aspect, but it is culture, meditation and art at the same time. Thus it is a perfect holistic training, the gained movement quality and body control has an enormous positive influence on everyday life as well as on other sports.
Ballet for adult beginners
Often the question arises whether it is already too late to start the ballet. However, if it is part of an enriching hobby, it is never too late to start ballet. The classical ballet does not only offer a holistic balance for the body after a long working day. Due to the high concentration, which is created during the lessons, the student is completely absorbed by the dance events and thus 100 percent devoted to the ballet, both physically and mentally. Since the execution of movement requires a very high degree of precision, which we teachers constantly teach by means of corrections and assistance during the lessons, and since one also tries to remember the sequence of movements, there is simply no space or time for other thoughts for the head. Our students appreciate this quality very much and have understood dance as a valuable, personal component. Because ballet does not only include the high fitness aspect, but it is culture, meditation and art at the same time. The classical ballet offers a perfect holistic training and the gained quality of movement and body control has a very positive influence on everyday life and especially on other sports.
A course for the entire body and mind, because our body workout offers not only gymnastics and efficient training for problem zones such as buttocks, abdomen and thighs. The entire cardiovascular system is also stimulated with lots of fun and lively music. Fun with movement, combined with the right exercises. The back muscles are strengthened in a targeted way and the general well-being is noticeably increased.
Stretching is important for every target and age group! Without stretching, the muscles of our body become shorter and tense over time and our range of motion becomes more and more restricted. Otherwise simple things can become more and more difficult. In order to counteract this process, it is advisable to participate regularly in our stretching programme. Tensions are released and you can move more freely again.
Pilates is a very gentle training method for body and mind that is also very effective. It restores the muscles and joints without putting any strain on them. Every exercise is a combination of movement and breathing. The focus is not on quantity, but on quality. Pilates is particularly suitable for people who suffer from posture and back problems as well as weak back, pelvic floor and/or abdominal muscles. It is also an ideal training for regression after pregnancy. Particular attention is paid to the centre of the body, the deep muscles in the pelvis, abdomen and waist.
Training for boys and men
Boys who have set themselves the profession of dancer as their goal have the advantage of being able to benefit from quite good chances in realizing their career aspirations. The men’s training is enormously powerful, typical training components are large, acrobatic jumps, turns and intensive strength training for the whole body and endurance training. Often professional athletes from other fields, such as Novak Djokovic and some NFL players, also train classical ballet to broaden their range of motion, sharpen fine motor skills and coordination, and increase their movement awareness to prevent injuries and improve the technique of their own sport.
